In Denmark we have a tradition for making christmas calendar for our kids. This one I made for the danish kids magazine "vi forældre" some years ago. with 11 days to the first of december – you still have time make your own.
The calendar is made out of mdf board, painted, and applied gold leaf for the moon and stars. Small hooks makes it possible to hang the gifts. (pic:Sofie Helsted)
